Courtesy Pay is an added layer of payment protection that's automatically included with your Simply Checking Account. When life happens, it's a safety net that covers your checking account transactions when you need it. You're covered up to your approved limit minus the service fee assessed when you do use it. This service helps you avoid merchant fees for returned checks and awkward declines at the register.
What Transactions Are Automatically Covered?
- Payments cleared through ACH (that's when you have set up automatic payments using your bank account information)
- Checks clearing through your account
- Bill Payment transactions
What Transactions Are Not Automatically Covered?
- Debit card purchases
- ATM Withdrawals
- At the counter withdrawals
